SSL, Qt5 Cadaques

Hello again dear yazılımperver friends. This time, I will make a brief announcement and share a link with you (but do not worry,  the new post will be with you soon).

SSL Support

First of all, we have come to the end, as my strict followers have realized, in terms of providing SSL capability to the my site. As I shared with you at the beginning of the year, I have been planning to provide this support and now my site is under SSL guarantee. Chrome users will no longer see “this site unsafe” warning 🙂 For curious followers, you can see the current SSL certificates via the following site.

Although GoDaddy and similar provider sites provide you this ability in an easy way, you need to get your hands dirty for those who install WordPress from scratch. Fortunately, this is not too difficult, and after a few installation and adjustment, you can easily provide this capability. I used LetsEncrypt and CertBot for this purpose. Normally, the certificates offered by LetsEncrypt are valid for 90 days, but you can auto-renew them with some scripts. That’s all for this post and hopefully, I can write a separate short article about process.

Qt5 Cadaques

As I mentioned in my QT articles, QT provides QML declerative language for some time. So I started to use it for some of my projects. My first impressions are really very positive. Very quickly and easily, you can develop a visual application. I hope I will devote a separate post in the SMGE series about that. Even more beautiful, but I have not yet tried, multi-platform support, I will try it as soon as possible and I will share my impressions with you in the article I mentioned. Until then, I’m leaving you alone with the following online book, which is actually more about QML, even though the title is QT 5. Look after yourself, I hope to see you in my next article.
